Phineas & Ferb Birthday Cake

This adorable Phineas & Ferb Birthday Cake is made for a little boy that loved this cartoon.  The birthday boy is allergic to eggs, so I found an eggless cake recipe online.  It is eggless vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.  It was my first time trying out this recipe and it was a little bit dry to my liking, so I brushed the layers of the cake with simple syrup.

Phineas and Ferb are hand made out of gum paste.  It was a bit of a challenge because I've never seen or heard of them before.  After watching a few episodes on YouTube, I was able to get and idea and came up with this design.  The tree, fence, grass and clouds are made with fondant.  Overall, I enjoyed making this cake.

Princess Birthday Cake

This cute Princess cake is made with vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream, and filled with mini chocolate chips.  The crown and the princess wand are made out of gum paste and are outlined with edible pearls.  The cake is topped with edible glitters.

Baby Footprints & Daffodils: Baby Shower Cake

This adorable baby shower cake was made to fit the theme of the shower: baby footprints and yellow daffodils.  It is a moist vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and it is filled with raspberry filling.
The mini yellow daffodils are made out of gum paste.
On top of the cake is a ceramic topper provided by the customer.  How cute is this topper?  Definitely worked well with the design of the cake.
