This guitar cake is made with chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting. The birthday celebrant was getting a guitar and guitar lessons for his birthday, so this cake was a perfect in order to tie in the surprise gifts.
The guitar was hand made using gum paste. The rest of the details such as the music notes and the writing are piped on using royal icing.
