91st Birthday Cake

This colorful and cute cake are for 2 special ladies that are celebrating their 91st birthday. It is a moist chocolate cake filled with chocolate Bavarian cream.  It is frosted with almond buttercream and then covered with fondant.  The flowers are made out of fondant and the piped accents were done using royal icing.

Dora The Explorer Cake & Cupcakes

This Dora Cake was made for a very special little girl, my niece Madison.  She loves Dora the Explorer and she has been excited about her birthday party for months.  Every time we see each other, she reminds me that she wants me to make her a Dora cake for her birthday.

The cake is almond cake filled and covered with almond buttercream.  The cupcakes are marble and chocolate with almond buttercream.  The cake is topped with a plastic Dora doll that my niece was able to keep.  The cakes and cupcakes are decorated with fondant stars, daisies, butterflies, and mini flowers.

Bright Bouquet & Swirls Cake

This is a Mango cake with Mango Buttercream especially made for my best friend, Carla.  The cake cake is covered in fondant.  The colorful flowers and leaves are made out fondant.  The writing and the swirls are made with teal royal icing.

My first time making a mango cake and it was an absolute hit!  Everyone loved it.
